Not getting enough fuel throughout the day. In my individualized work with swimmers, the biggest mistake they make is not eating enough and not getting enough protein throughout the day.
I get it, it’s hard to eat enough calories for all of the hours you put into practice daily. If you under fuel throughout your school day, afternoon practice performance will not be optimal and over time, you’ll be plagued with severe fatigue.
