Meet the team

ERICA BEINE
President & Owner
Erica is a certified sports nutritionist and certified health coach. She has a collegiate coaching background of 13 years in NCAA Division I swimming. She coached at Ball State University as the M & W Graduate Assistant Coach, The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as the M & W Assistant Coach and the M & W Head Coach, the University of Maryland as the M & W Assistant Coach, and Purdue University as the W Assistant Coach. At age 26, she was the youngest Division I head coach in the country and one of four women acting as the head coach of a men’s team. The following year, Erica was named Horizon League Men’s Swimming Coach of the Year as the Men’s Team won its first conference championship in ten years.
In 2018, Erica retired from coaching and started Beine Wellness Building to help athletes understand how to fuel their own individual bodies. After years of watching all athletes be taught the same information about nutrition, she knew there was a way to help each individual athlete succeed and achieve based on more than just general principals. Erica has worked with some of the best and most recognized athletes in the world. Including NCAA Champions, World Record Holders, American Record Holders, and International Gold Medalists.
As an athlete, Erica was a five-time Division III NCAA-All American at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a standout high school athlete in her hometown of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

DAVE GRIFFORE
Director of Business Development
Dave Griffore served five years as the Athletic Director at Johnson & Wales University (JWU) from 2016 to 2021. Prior to JWU, Griffore served as the associate director of athletics and head swim coach at Emory & Henry (E&H) College. As the Associate AD he was involved with athletic facilities, budgets, compliance, fundraising, coaching personal, and was the direct sports administrator for women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s cross country. He also over saw the strength and conditioning program Dave started the E&H swimming program in the Fall of 2012. During his time with E&H Swimming, Dave recruited and coached 20 conference champions, 29 all-conference swimmers and had the first ever NCAA National qualifier in 2016.
Dave also has ten years of Division I coaching experience. He coached 34 Olympic Trials qualifiers from three different countries between 2000-10. Dave was an assistant men’s and women’s swimming coach at Penn State University, the head swimming & diving coach for both men and women at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and spent six seasons as the associate head swimming coach for men and women at Eastern Michigan University.
Dave was a three-time high school All-American swimmer in Minnesota and was state champion in the 50-yard freestyle. He swam at University of New Mexico where he was a seven-time Western Athletic Conference champion, setting three school records in the process.
SARAH JONES
Director of Database Administration & Technology Support
Sarah Jones is a high school senior. She plays the trumpet and is involved in many of the school’s bands, such as concert, jazz, marching, pit, and pep bands. She has also been involved in the FIRST Robotics program for eight years. She is currently the president of her robotics team, Girl Gang. In robotics, she works mainly on the design, mechanical, and electrical aspects of the robot. After graduating high school, Sarah hopes to pursue electrical engineering at Purdue University.

ALI DELOOF
Senior DNA Analyst
Ali DeLoof is from Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan and is the oldest of four girls and She is currently a professional swimmer training in Knoxville, Tennessee with the University of Tennessee post graduate training group. Ali was a four year letter winner at the University of Michigan and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She recently received a graduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan’s School of Education.
Ali is an eight-time NCAA All-American, Big Ten Champion, former American and World Record Holder in the 4 x 50m Medley Relay, International Medalist, and a former member of the US National Team.

ALLY MCHUGH
Senior DNA Analyst
Ally McHugh is a current member of the U.S. National Team. Her swimming career began in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA. A two-time Big Ten Champion and 2019 NCAA Champion in the 1650 free while swimming for Penn State University, Ally was an extremely accomplished collegiate athlete. She is also a four-time U.S National Champion and was a member of the 2019 FINA World Championships team.
Ally is currently training with Wisconsin Aquatics as she prepares for the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.

ARIEL HULME
Senior DNA Analyst
Ariel was a competitive swimmer for 19 years. She swam collegiately at Purdue where she was part of eight school records and an NCAA Championships Qualifier, where she earned All-American Honors. In the classroom, Ariel was also an Academic All-American. She competed at the United States Olympic Trials in 2012 in the 50, 100, and 200 freestyles. After the conclusion of her athletic career at Olympic Trials, Ariel has worked in sales and customer service. Ariel lives in Columbus with her husband, Michael Hulme, whom is an Assistant Coach for the M & W Swimming Teams at Ohio State. The Hulmes have a son, Bridger and a daughter, Cora.

CIERRA RUNGE
Senior DNA Analyst
Cierra Runge is a 2016 Olympian and Gold medalist, 2x Worlds Gold Medalist, and 1x Pan Pacific Games Silver medalist. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2020 with a degree in Nutrition and Healthy Living with Psychology. Cierra represented the Sun Devils at Pac-12’s and NCAA’s. She is an avid cook and baker and enjoys finding new recipes to try. She also enjoys hiking, camping, and anything outdoorsy. Cierra is originally from Pennsylvania but currently lives in Arizona with her husband and 2 pups.

CHRISTINA LANDRUM
Senior DNA Analyst
Christina has had a passion for swimming for as long as she can remember. She has been fortunate enough to have been able to carry over her love of the sport as an athlete to a career in coaching. After finishing her collegiate swimming career at Purdue University she continued on as a masters swimmer. She competed for teams in Southern California, Boston and back in her hometown of Lafayette, Indiana earning several national titles over the years.
As a coach, Christina, has worked with athletes at every skill level and age group. She started her coaching career with her former club team Boilermaker Aquatics. She then went on to be an Assistant with the Purdue University Women’s Swim Team. Her passion for youth athletics and devotion to building strong individuals in and out of the pool led her to return to club coaching as the Head Coach, President and Owner of FISH Aquatics.

DAVE JOYCE
Senior DNA Analyst
Coach Dave Joyce brings over 25 years of swim coaching experience to the team. He got his start as an age group coach for Verona Aquatic Club in the mid-1990’s. Dave coached his way through college at UW-Madison, with successful stints at the helm of the Madison West YMCA, High Point Swim Club and at Mad Town Aquatics in the late 90’s before moving to the Oconomowoc area in 2000 to take the helm of the powerful Lake Country Phoenix Senior Team (2000-2004 & 2014-2018).
Coach Joyce led dominant LAKE squads during this time, placing swimmers on the National Team, amassing numerous Wisconsin Swimming Team Championships, event titles and smashing countless state records. Coach Joyce also grew the fledgling YMCA at Pabst Farms Swim Team into a formidable mid-sized program from 2004-2012 in addition to enjoying several remarkably successful years as the sprint coach and recruiting coordinator at UW-Milwaukee (2011-2014). Coach Joyce has developed swimmers to the Olympic Trials qualifier level at every stop along the way and has been on deck at each Olympic Trials since 2000. He is father to three young sons, August (8), Denver (7) and Shoal (5).

GABBY DELOOF
Senior DNA Analyst
Gabby DeLoof is currently a professional swimmer training with the University of Michigan. Gabby was a highly decorated athlete for Michigan totaling twelve NCAA All-American Honors and five Big Ten Titles. She has also competed internationally for Team USA at the World University Games, Pan Pac Championships, and World Championships. Currently, Gabby is a member of the USA Swimming National Team.

KENDALL DAWSON
Senior DNA Analyst
Kendall Dawson is a 2016 and 2021 Olympic Trials qualifier, qualifying in the 200 free, 400 free, and 800 free. She swam for 4 years at Arizona State University and was named a CSCAA All-American and CSAA Academic All-American. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2020 with a degree in Biological Sciences and is working towards medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon. Kendall is originally from Orlando, Florida where she has experience coaching age group swimmers and giving swim lessons with her club team. She is now living and training for Olympic Trials in Tempe, Arizona where she enjoys hiking and exploring with her dog, Dakota.

KERI HEHN
Senior DNA Analyst
A former member of the US National Team, Keri swam in the World Championships, Pan American Games, and World University Games. Starting her swimming career in Fargo, ND, she attended college at the University of Minnesota and eventually finished her career with Dave Salo at the Trojan Swim Club in Los Angeles, CA.
Starting in July, Keri will become the Director of Admission and Enrollment at the Harbor Day School in Newport Beach, CA. In her free time, she likes to swim with the turtles in Hawaii and coach swimming.
